Polk City Council Minutes Special Meeting January 14, 2008 The City Council for the City of Polk City met in special session on January 14, 2008 at City Hall in Polk City, Iowa. Present were Tim Rhoades, David Dvorak, Robert Mordini, Dan Lane and Ron Anderson. Also present was Administrator Gary Mahannah. Mayor Heuertz called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. The purpose of the special meeting was to hear a presentation by Polk City Development Corporation. Present representing PCDC were John Calhoun, Bob Miller and Pat Franklin. The presentation was on the importance of economic development to the City. Council directed the Finance Committee to meet to discuss additional funding for PCDC. The Mayor closed the meeting at 6:05 p.m. _____________________________ Gary M.
