Polk City Council Minutes Special Work Session January 15, 2008 The City Council for the City of Polk City met in special session on January 15, 2008 at City Hall in Polk City, Iowa. Present were Tim Rhoades, David Dvorak, Dan Lane and Ron Anderson. City Administrator Gary Mahannah and Finance Officer Colin Adams were also present. Councilman Anderson called the meeting to order at 6:20 p.m. The reason for the special meeting was to discuss the 2008-2009 budget. A list of Capital projects was discussed along with putting an extra $250,000. into the budget for WRA. Also discussed was moving the sidewalk at the Community Building up on the list of priorities. Staff was asked to set a Finance Committee meeting the week of January 28th and to place on the agenda for the next regular meeting to set a council work session the week of February 3rd.
