Special Work Session

February 13, 2008

The City Council for the City of Polk City met in special session on February 13, 2008 at City Hall in Polk City, Iowa. Present were Tim Rhoades, David Dvorak, Robert Mordini, Dan Lane and Ron Anderson. Mayor Pro-Tem Mordini called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. Also present were Finance Officer Colin Adams and Director or Public Works Mike Schulte.

Finance Officer Adams presented the figures for the 2008-2009 budget. Public Works Director Schulte discussed the automatic meter reading program with the council and the hiring of two public works employees. The council discussed the Capital Improvement Projects projected and decided to place the automatic meter reading program in the 2008-2009 budget. The Personnel Committee is to meet

to discuss the additional employees for Public Works.

The meeting adjourned at 6:20 p.m.
