Work Session

The City Council for the City of Polk City met in special session on April 14, 2008 at City Hall in Polk City, Iowa. Present were Tim Rhoades, David Dvorak, Robert Mordini and Ron Anderson. Also present were Larry Land and Tom Hockensmith from Polk County, Director of Public Works Mike Schulte and City Administrator Gary Mahannah. Mayor Heuertz called the meeting to order at 5:05 p.m.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the NW Madrid Drive/Broadway Street Improvement Project from S. Third Street to the entrance of Big Creek State Park. Discussed were the preliminary design, construction plans, probable cost and schedule.

The meeting adjourned at 6:22 p.m.
